Sky Medic Patient Repatriation Service
Our sky - medic repatriation service is available to the NHS, private hospitals, insurance companies, as well as individuals that require an experienced provider to undertake the care and management of unwell and injured Patients from abroad inbound, to the UK and from the UK, outbound, whatever their medical requirements may be. Our Doctor is able to liase with medical staff at Patients place of treatment, and decides on the best care plan to suit medical requirements. Once this has been discussed and evaluated, arrangements can be made and put into place for the repatriation of the patient. We also provide ambulance transport for ongoing road travel to patients receiving place of care or home address, within the UK. This total package allows Crusader to be in full control and ensures a first class service that you would expect from a company with our reputation.
Before we are able to give you an initial price for a Patient repatriation we will need to establish the following
- Patients age and sex
- History of injury/illness
- Other related history
- Present condition of Patient
- Mobility Level
- Location of Patient
- Final Destination
Once we have received your instructions our medical director can then start communications, liasing with medical authorities and arranging air and ambulance transportation, together with suitable trained personnel and medical equipment that will be needed in – flight. If the Patients condition does not warrant a private aircraft, arrangements can be made to provide a medic to accompany the Patient on a commercial flight providing care and assistance throughout their journey.
